Some guys have a higher sex drive than others.
But this shouldn't really be a problem, because it should show you that he really likes you and that you excite him pretty easily.

My boyfriend of 10 years still gets excited when we hold hands or are near each other.

Yeah, he's at his "peak" sexually.
