God's response?

God killed every firstborn child of Egypt, including the firstborn of people imprisoned by Pharaoh as well as the firstborn of cattle. God struck everyone in the fields, man and cattle, with hail. God struck every single Egyptian with boils.

A just God?

Hey, don't forget that God wouldn't let Pharaoh free the Israelites, so that his "wonders may be multiplied"

Pharoh had killed off thousands of Isrealite slave babies in the past. G-d also sent Moses as a warning for Pharoh to let the Isrealites go. While the people of Egypt may not have been to blame for Pharoh's actions, they did worship Pharoh as a god and thus approved of all of this decisions.

There is no egyptian historical record of 600,000 slaves leaving egypt with a man named moses plaguing the entire country.
Hmmm.... I wonder why.

there is zero evidence of any jewish slavery in ancient egypt. there was a tribe living within egypt's borders called the Haibru which is believed to be the early jews.
