It will close in time at it's own pace. Sorry, I have five piercings currently and have never heard of anything to help piercings close. If you wanted it you should have stuck up for it or compromised to putting a retainer in for when you two went out. It's your body, not his.

Hate to break it to ya but it's not going to close. I had my labret done when I was 17 and I took it out. 4 years later, I have the same kind of scar you do. You might try using Mederma (you can get it at a drugstore) but it didn't work on mine. Why don't you just pierce it back through? It's your face; not your husband's.

It might be a while before it closes and it might never close. But if you had just got the percing it wouldn't have taken long to fill in.

if your husband doesnt like it and you do then he should deal with it...i honestly dont like them either but i wouldnt make someone take it out.. how long did you have it pierced for.. they usually say the longer it is pierced the longer it will that to close.

it might not ever close just wait out and see try not to moisturize it as much treat it just like you would treat a cut aside from the band-aid ~goodluck~

It will take time, but there will probably always be an indentation. You might need surgery to close it up completely, but a cheaper alternative is this:
