You're young, you have time for the other fourteen. I got my first college degree, that was a goal. I've been to four other continents, that's getting closer to my goal of visiting all seven. I don't think I'll ever get around to writing a novel, though. My attention span is way too short and I always wrap it up within twenty pages. You win some, you lose some I guess.

I had a lot of goals when I was younger but have achieved virtually none of them. The reason, however, is because my life has taken me in a different direction than I thought and I have achieved things I never would have dreamed before.

For example, when I was young I was convinced I would be an engineer or a professional scientist, as this was what many in my family had done. Although I did train as a scientist life through me a few monkey wrenches and I've now taken a different path, in business. As a businessman, though, I consider myself quite successful. I've founded a number of entrepreneurial ventures, contributed to charity through the wealth I've been able to accumulate, etc. None of these things were in my plans but I'm really happy about how things have turned out.

I've also been fortunate enough to, through various means, visit all the continents (yes, including *that* one :D). I'm married to an absolutely wonderful and beautiful human being who also happens to be my best friend. Although we have no children of our own we have acted as foster parents at times. So I'd say my life is full and my "goals list" is being created and re-created every day.

And, if I never achieve Level 3 on Y!A, I'm OK with that...

Love the question. Thanks!

I have a long "to do" list from wise to foolish. On the wise side I have married a good wife, and raised a good son to carry on the name.

I think I learned "the purpose of life", but that's another question (ask me!!!).

Some folks haven't even addressed that question, let alone answer it!

Their lives are about as purposeful as a dog chasing it's tale. Greedy for money and "things", they're collecting over-priced "treasures" that they can't take with them.

Hint: I've repented of my sins, and been "born again"; and also "adopted" into the "family of God", as a "child" of the Creator of this whole universe, and a "brother" of Jesus Christ my Lord & Saviour!!!

I also outlived my kid brother Al, who said I "would not live to see 21", because I was fat, AND was turned down for insurance in elementary school.

The insurance company "missed a trick" because I'm coming up on retirement and planning to live a while yet!!!

God must still have something more for me to do, before I join Al in the after-life. Here I am Father/God, use me!

I made a list of things I want to do before I die and I haven't crossed any of them off yet.

I am only 21 though, so I am not too worried about it. I also have a baby so it makes it hard to pack up and see the world. lol (I am justifying my own procrastination.)

haha. I just became a top contributor today. It did make me quite happy. hahaha

I've gotton some awards I'm proud of, but I'm too young to get my dream job yet. And I don't think global warming or discrimination will go away in my lifetime.

My existence objective replaced into to develop right into a expert author/editor. After graduating college and spending 4 12 months completely depressing working in day care just to pay the charges, I in simple terms carried out this objective in September of final 12 months; I now have an entire time activity as an assistant editor. i'm no longer a sort of human beings who's obsessed on artwork above human beings and love. i'm no longer a workaholic. it incredibly is greater my existence dream no longer with the aid of fact it incredibly is a occupation, yet with the aid of fact it incredibly is what makes me chuffed. Writing and modifying are my passions in existence. i understand i'm solid at it, it provides me self belief and objective, and stressful circumstances me on a daily basis. i think of all human beings's existence objective isn't approximately artwork, or relationships, or on your case with regards to the wolf itself. it incredibly is approximately happiness. i think of this is all human beings's terrific objective. to locate actual happiness, lasting happiness, no longer the fleeting variety you get from having a relaxing dinner out with pals or some thing. So notwithstanding your existence objective is, it interprets to being chuffed. In that way, all our targets are the comparable, even although we are such distinctive human beings. I felt so out of place and so purposeless whilst i replaced into working in daycare. I felt like I had wasted 5 years of school and all the artwork I had positioned into turning out to be a author for no longer something. I felt like I had no reason to get away from mattress on a daily basis. And once you reside your existence feeling which you haven't any longer have been given any reason to be right here, you start to think of, "How am i able to stay something of my existence this way, for yet another 60 years, as a failure?" you start to provide up, to doubt, to think of "possibly that's no longer the perfect objective for me, possibly I could settle for some thing much less." they are announcing that when you answer the question, "What could you do in case you had countless funds and supplies, and did no longer could artwork ever lower back? What could you do alongside with your existence/time?" That your answer is your destiny--that's what you're meant to do alongside with your existence. For me, i could examine and write on a daily basis for loose, thankfully, and so now that I easily have became that right into a occupation, I easily have carried out my dream. answer: all human beings's existence objective is happiness, or pastime, or objective, or some mix of those.
