Of course looks play an important role to get someones attention, but I still prefer personality more. Looks fade away with time, but personality rarely takes a 180 jump. I also believe if you find someone who is average looks, but his personality shines, you would automatically start to find him very attractive.

I'm a guy, and here's what I look for in a girl:
1. A pretty face (75% of first impression, 10% of overall)
2. A nice a** (15% of first impression, 10% of overall)
3. Nice rest of body (5% of first impression, 5% of overall)
4. A great personality (5% of first impression, 75% of overall)
Notice there are two categories: first impression (short run) and overall (long run).
Obviously, this is just an approximation I came up with. Personality includes: non-smoker, caring, honest, fun-loving, intelligent, and down-to-earth

both. but if I had to choose one I'd take personality. Looks fade, personality doesn't.

someone that has a great personality and is average in the looks department can become more and more beautiful the more you get to know her.
