My class went on a field trip via train. We are college students and the tickets we had didn't have reserved seats, thus allowing us to sit where we pleased. So, this guy from my class sat by me on the way there. We spoke for almost the whole 3 hr. ride about ourselves, our goals, and all that stuff. We hung out together the whole day, and he sat by me again on the way back. He was really tired and decided to sleep. He kept leaning on me as he was sleeping, and he had a lot of room left on his side. He woke up, and I told him he was taking up half of my chair and laughed. He apologized and leaned away from me. Soon after, he was leaning on me. I began to stroke his fingers just to bother him since I was bored, and wanted to see if he was really sleeping. He then intwined our fingers and left them like that. At one point we let go, I think it was to get my phone our something. Anyway, when I was done, we held went back to holding hands. He "woke" up, and we spoke to

eachother, and we were still holding hands. Neither of us mentioned it, and kept talking as if nothing was going on. I know we looked into eachothers eyes, and I didn't detect any uneasiness from him. We never mentioned this again. I know a few weeks later, this guy was flirting with me in front of him, and I think it might have taken him aback. I wonder if this affected anything. Do u think there is/was any attraction?

Of course there was an attraction, but I think you already know that. The question should be 'what are you going to do about it'. Personally, I would say ditch all of the stupid games and just tell him the truth ... something along the lines of "I really liked the conversation we had on the train and would love to repeat it some time" and see what he says. The other option is that you come up with some lame excuse for you to hang out (like asking him to a study session). In my opinion, the games are no fun, and people generally know what you're up to when you try to trick someone into spending time with you. Don't worry about making the first move. It's my experience that the best guys (AKA The Keepers) are generally clueless when it comes to wooing a girl. It's the guys that are constantly courting that develop all of those charming pick-up skills.

Good luck! Let us know how it goes!

Heck yes... He definitely likes you. And if you were flirting with someone else in front of him, he probably was taken aback. If you like him, pursue him and let him know... If not, make it clear that you want to be his friend, but have no romantic interest.

Yes there is a major attraction between the two of you. You should totally date this guy.

that's not really attraction. sounds cheesy and like the guy was just trying to get into someone's pants.
