"you think you know but you really don't that's why you get so defensive"

You asked a question that required atheists to defend themselves...get off your high horse.

"never in my lifetime will you convince me that your right..."

That's fine, but if that's the truth, why then does the concept of someone offering a counter-arguement bother you so?

"i believe in what i do because i feel it in my heart.."

Again...that's fine. We don't believe as you do because we know it in our minds. I'll take knowledge and information over an emotional response anyday.

"it seems to me you feel nothing in yours"

Another emotional response on your part. Do you really and truly believe that someone who doesn't believe in a god is cold and heartless? Every human being has the same capacity for empathy and emotional response. Just because you can't pick it out of a typed answer doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

"good luck with your lives"

Luck doesn't exist either. Coincidence does.

"i hope God blesses you all...or is that to much to handle???"

Non-existent gods do nothing; however I'll make a deal with you...if you don't preach/pray in our schools and courthouses, we won't think in your churches.

Yes, your heart. That's why you believe that a god exists. You have an emotional attachment to that idea. That emotional hook has been cultivated by a religion that is really good at doing so.

This is why you see us in such emotional terms. When we civilly respond to your questions, suddenly you see us as "defensive" and feeling a tad overwhelmed.

I understand that I probably won't convince you that we're right. You won't listen to reason with such a strong emotional attachment to what you want to believe. And society won't help either. If anything, it fosters this superstition that you've grown attached to. The most we can do is perhaps get you to think about your own beliefs a little.

If I can help just a few people break away from the clutches of religious superstition, I will have done my part to make this world a better place to live.

I never said I know anything. And I'm hardly defensive. I've nothing to be defensive about. And I do feel things in my heart but not the same things as you. My heart is a four chambered, two stroke, electromuscular pump used to supply hydraulic pressure to my circulatory system. Most of what I believe, or I should say consider plausible, I do in my brain. Whose the real defensive one here?

ok and never in my life time will you or anybody convince me they are right (and i have more of my life to go than you). i believe in what i do because i feel in this metaphorical heart no interfearance from god. no "great inspiration", no epiphany, i feel only me and nothing else. good luck with your life and i hope you can learn to think before posting a question such as this again. believe what you want just think before posting a question. you will save yourself alot of bad answers.

The word meister originally means "master" in German (as in master craftsman or as an honorific title such as Meister Eckhart; akin to maestro). It has been borrowed into English slang, where it is used in compound words. These neologisms mostly have a sarcastic intent. I guess you are trying to be your name ma'am, but to write the way you have wrote, sounds more childish then for a woman 44 years of age. Maybe you need more time to grow up.

Fellow christian, your behavior is unbecoming as a christian. I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus. Do not walk in a spirit of haughtiness or pride. Do not sit in the seat of judgment or arrogance. We are trying to sell the best product on the face of the planet and your sales pitch leaves much to be desired. Have you not heard, my sister that you attract more flies with honey than with vinegar? Put the vinegar bottle away and put out that bottle of honey that is made of God's love flowing through you. I beg of you. Do not continue in this manner.

I have no objection to being told that I really don't know anything. I *do* however object to being told that you or anyone else is in any better shape knowledge wise. NO ONE knows. I respect that people believe things different from me and acknowledge that they could be correct. I just wish everyone else would do the same.

I know plenty of Christians who have been backed into a corner and fought with nail and tooth to get their point across and were left with nothing but rude, selfish, and defensive comments. Before you make harsh, cruel comments about one side, why don't you take a look at your own side?

Never be too quick with your bias.

LOL who's defensive? You are the one making a statement in what should be a question. You are the defensive one trying to convince yourself of retarded dogma

Is it too much to ask for you to learn basic grammar?
