The US though they say that they don't allow dual citizenship in most cases they don't bother with it........ as long as you travel on your US passport.

But....... serving in a foriegn military service requires you to swear an oath. Doing that could seriously jeopardize your US citizenship. Regardless of what you may read Egypt is pretty tight with the US. If you kick butt with the Egyptian military it will eventually become an issue.

Join the US military. You speak the language well enough to consider joining the the Egyption military? Native speakers are at a premium....... you could make tons of money working for the US. And you would not jeopardize your citizenship and in the end...... your later clearances from both countries.

The Egyptian would probably take you. However, if you do, you may risk losing the US citizenship. US law prohibits a citizen from swearing allegiance to another country, and can revoke you US citizenship if you do.

When you join the Egyptian Military you will swear an oath of allegiance to Egypt and will be expected to keep it for the period of your service.
