I am not familiar with any confirmed cases. There was a scare in the early 1980s when the media (particularly the TV tabloids) rang alarm bells and screamed about "Satan-worshipers" (not Wiccans, mind you, but supposed Satan-worshipers) abusing children by the thousands, but the vast majority of those stories turned out to be false.

I am not Wiccan, though I may be a witch! Actually, I call myself agnostic but have studied many of the occult disciplines. In my experience, those who profess to be Wiccans or witches have given much thought to the matter of their beliefs before having either joined a coven or group or become solitary practitioners of the nature religions which respect all life. If sincere in their beliefs, they would be most unlikely to abuse or murder their own or anyone else's children, even any living creature. I can not recall ever having read or heard of a specific case in which either was accused of such a crime.

Not even once. The only time I've seen that is in fairy tales. Maybe there should be some censorship, because this is libellous and unfair. I've noticed how wolves get the same treatment, despite being among the most loyal animals on the planet.

Very good question. If I could have starred it more than once, I would.

So much for anyone who calls them 'evil'.

When looked at the other way round, with (virtually) every other religion there is, the list is endless.

Says something, really, doesn't it?

I have never ever heard of this, although there may be an example somewhere.

I did a little searching on the Internet, and the only link to Wiccans and child abuse or child murdere is accusations, primarily by Christian fundamentalists. There seem to be no actual proven cases.

Never!
I asked a similar Q yesterday, and some fool did a search! LOL!
If you search the internet, you can find any kind of problem you are looking for!
But this is extreemly rare, even rarer than our percentage of the population. I think it has to do with that fact that we don't plant the seeds of Demons and Exorcisms in our children or their partents.
Most of the accounts we see, the parents will claim that the child was possessed, or "God" told them to do it. Then you have the haters who will blow people up indiscriminately!

Actually, there have been a couple....these people didn't belong to any legitimate tradition I am aware of, but they did call themselves that....

If you keep up with the news at witchvox, you'll see one ever 3-5 years or so....

Not anything remotely approaching the numbers of OTHER religions, mind you.
