Sure.

People think that all you have to do is believe in Jesus. However, John 3:36 states that "he that disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him."

Faith involves much more than just believing. Being faithful involves loyalty to God. For example, a husband can acknowledge that his wife exists and even that she is deserving of his loyalty. But if he cheats on her with another woman can he really be called a faithful husband? Likewise, true faith involves loyalty to God and obeying his commands. Jesus said in Revelation 2:10 "Prove yourself faithful even to death, and I will give you the crown of life." Believing is a start, but we must remain faithful to the finish if we are to receive life's prize:

"I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith" -2 Timothy 4:7

More nonsense from the Bible. It's basically the old scapegoat mentality that's also found elsewhere in the Bible. The idea that somebody's death could somehow absolve bad things others did is nonsense.

It's also a means by which religion instills emotional hooks into the converts to keep them filling the pews. On one hand, you have the guilt instilled by the pushing of rules that are impossible to follow. Also, you have pity for the martyr "sacrificing" his life to somehow help amend those failures to folow the impossible list of rules. There are other hooks in there, too.

God love the world, including human society that he come down himself as Jesus. That everyone who believes in Jesus should not die spirtiually, our soul can live on instead of burning in hell, but are given to live forever. Jesus did not come to condemn the world but to give us life and more abundantly.
