If it comes from Satan, it will often be too good to be true, easily-gotten, or a deception (someone has some/most of the qualities you're looking for but hides something from you or tries to lead you away from the Lord). God always answers prayers, but according to His Will for us, not what or when we think is best for ourselves. He may not want you to be married yet but to have relationships through which you learn and grow, though marriage is the fulfillment of a relationship. I believe that there is someone (or several someones) who is our soulmate but He may not want to bind the relationship in marriage. We must bear in mind that although the scriptures may not literally apply to a given situation, the principles and spiritual laws behind them are always relevant. At the end of the day, use your discernment guided by the holy spirit within. If you meet someone who seems perfect, fast and pray to the Lord and 'give' that person to Him. If all sits well with your spirit, then go for it!

Honestly, God does not answer prayers. Why should He?
He has already given you Wisdom and Freedom so what more do you want from Him?
Human beings are like rusty nails put before a magnet. There won't be any pull or attraction so until we purify our souls of the many sins that have become the stumbling blocks in our relationship with God no amount of prayers or fasting will get us closer to Him.
Anyway, the best form of prayer is Meditation through which you draw power from the source itself(God) to purify your soul and have your sins absolved.
Meanwhile, this world is the kingdom of the devil and all we do is to follow the dictates of the devil. The devil is not a human being but our own weaknesses so the more impurities you have the more devilish you become. So in a situation where one person alone has all the vices and the more entrenched they are the more satanic one becomes.
Some of the known vices include lust, anger, greed, attachment, ego, hatred, gossiping, liars etc.
So once you have a weakness you can't have a direct connection with God and the weaknesses in you will deceive you.
The truth is that this is hell and the jungle of thorns where we have all fallen and trapped by our weaknesses. The devil is not a spirit but a human being who has become an embodiment of all the vices and since we all have one weakness or the other there is nobody special anywhere who has all the qualities you are looking for. This body is akin to an old shoe which is thread bare and totally decayed so it is like you are asking God to give you the impossible. There is nothing special or perfect anywhere in hell. It only exists in heaven but unfortunately that period has come and gone.
For humanity to be happy in this hell is to lead a life of a celibate but unfortunately our weaknesses are such that we can't do without sex.Ask those who are in marriage and they would tell you how they had wished they didn't go into it.
But since nobody is an angel you should be prepared for anything which comes your way- a dirty old shoe the same as you.
Jesus Christ showed us the way to become celibates and if we claim to be christians then we should follow his footsteps.
As long as we want to marry then we should expect to have sorrow either from your spouse or the children. For how can one expect to raise a child in hell and not to encounter problems and troubles. Is there anything worth emulating in hell? No wonder the children of this world are more of shells than diamonds because they have taken after their parents.

It's easiest to tell if God provided something when you have a close personal relationship with Him. Then there won't be any doubt, you can just ask Him, God, Is this from you? Most people think it's crazy, but many Christians will attest to the fact that God will speak to you if you listen. Plus, if you are a child of God, He will not allow anything to happen to you that He has not sanctioned. Satan has no power, no control, no sway over your life. It's the non-christians that Satan rules.

If you're praying for a spouse, ask the person you think could be the "one" how they feel about it. If they slam God and think you're full of it, then they apparently are not the one. If they feel the same way and are equal in believing, they could be the one. You need time and togetherness to see if it's really right. (Actions speak louder than words) Good luck & God bless!!!

well i am kinda confused by ur question but i will answer it to the best of my abilities. when you ask sumthing from the Lord he always answers you. he may answer by yes i will give you this or wait longer its not my timing or no i wont. if satan gives you sumthin its just to temt you. u can usually stay on the right path to your answer by asking the questions(i.e the right woman/man for you) is he/she a christian, will this better my life or bring me down, and will this decision to accept this answer to pray let me stay strong in the faith? and most of all pray to God whether or not this is the answer or not!! hope i helped! =]]

This is exactly what the Pharisee's and Sadducee's did to Jesus Christ.Accusing Him of having power, because of Satan. This is Blasphemy! God only does good things,Satan cannot. So,if you cant distinguish the two, than you need to pray to God,to give you wisdom and knowledge to recognize.

i would say you can recognise the lord by his love, and all of his works have that love in them and you can feel it. But i guess you have to get to know god's love first before you can tell.

Satan has a deep, gravelly voice like a death-metal singer. Most of the time, he commands me to masturbate. I'm not really sure why. I think he's a bit of a pervert.

If you or she violated any scriptural principles to get together, then it isn't an answer from God.
