I think most people are too serious most times.

My boss is my best friend, and he's usually not all that serious, at least with me. But I've seen him stress out a few times, and when that happens, I try to remind him that it's all going to work out for the best. I try to cheer him up, because when he's unhappy, the whole work force tends to feel down.

No matter how serious my boss tries to be, she will never have our(coworkers') full respect because she has slept with many men and women to get where she is. (SO SAD)

Yes, they all can but when we're in charge the boot is on the other foot isn't it. We probably all like to think we would be one of the crowd but to keep control you need to reach a happy medium with your workforce. not too soft and not too bossy. Remember the old saying 'familiarity breeds contempt'!
