Pat..
Yes of course you do - you are in your prime my man!!
However, be careful - what happens if you both fall in love and then want to be with each other for the rest of your lives... ?
Now's OK - kids in 10yrs? - good for her - but your getting a bit old -eh? 55 is late to be playing ball in the park.
What is your rel when you are 70 and slowing and she is only 54 stil working, still firing on all cylinders - a bit hard possibly.
Fine for a fling ... a bit of fun ... she may even be flattered ... but ... before you start to get serious with her make sure you both know what you are in for in later life.
I'm not trying to talk you out of it - I've seen it work in my own family - just be aware to the consequences.
Good Luck
Joe

Yes, if the woman is looking for a father figure. But if you are the 38 year old, my question to you is: Why are you interested in someone almost young enough to be your daughter?

Im 34 and my husband is 50. We have been together for 7 years. There are issues. I worry that he will die before me and I am not sure how I would handle that. He worries that I will find some young stud and run away with him. But all in all we have a great working relationship and to tell you the truth I really think it depends on the people and their maturity level.

Yep, happens all the time. A lot of younger woman like older guys, and not only for money and nice gifts, but often for maturity and experience and knowing 'how to treat a lady.'
Just play up what you got (whatever it is), and downplay what you don't. Well, isn't that it always is when you are trying to impress a woman?

Yes, of course, why not? When my ex and I got married, I was 22 and he was 38. Age wasn't a problem.

Sure do. I'm 34 and have been seeing a 22 year old woman. She seems to have her head on her shoulders so we get along pretty good.

Yes I think you have a chance. If you love someone age shouldn't matter to you or that person. You don't pick who love you.You heart does.I think that your heart will know if you love this person. If it was me and I was 22 and you were 38 i would be open to the idea.Love is love and it should be unconditional.

If he's either:
A) Loaded (nice car, good-paying job, nice house, etc)
-or-
B) Attractive (in good shape/athletic, good personality)
Looking at things in terms of the law, its possible. And it seems to me that girls would want a more mature significant other than a young guy who plays around too much. I mean, I see girls complaining a lot about this and yet they won't go out with an eligible older guy?
