When Mac OS X Leopard comes out, can I purchase and download the upgrade or must I buy an actual upgrade DVD?

There are no upgrades per say.

You will have to get Leopard which will come on a DVD for 129$ or 69$ if you're a college student or educator.

u must buy the install dvd.
