I think their is a bit of an insecurity on your part even though you don't know the couple. It's like this, because women do the same thing. You can buy new clothes, change your group of friends, and do everything to yourself under the sun cosmetically, but the one thing you can never do is become white. So basically to answer your question you feel the way you do because a black women has chosen to be with someone you can never be. Maybe this is not the reason, but I know it is a very high reason amongst women because when we see a guy date outside his race we look at her and know that no matter what we do to ourselves we can never be the one thing that has attracted him, and that is the color of our skin.

I don't know. Ask yourself this question: Is it fair for a black woman to date a white guy while at the same time a black guy dates a white girl? Why or Why Not? I don't want an answer but if you can ask yourself this question then you may be OK with it. Just get used to it, there are going to be alot of interracial couples and that's just a fact of daily living.

Maybe you feel threatened by another race dating your race of women. I'm an Italian girl. And I have heard many times a white man won't date a girl who's been with a black guy (probably cause he's won't measure up) lol;) I think different nationalities feel threatened and or jealous by each other because every one has their good points. Like for instance black guys are supposed to be 'well endowed'. Spanish are ladies men (players). Italian guys know how to woo a woman...etc...see what I'm getting at?

Honestly I know I'm going to get a ton of thumbs down for this but we discussed it in psychology. It is because of the "status" it represents.
A black man..to be dating a white woman is a status symbol. He must be smarter than average, doing well for himself. In the community, it is assumed that black men who become lawyers and doctors marry a white woman.
But a black woman dating a white man is different. She is trying to be something she is not. The white man is seen as "slumming" and he is just going to leave her. But the black woman should know better than to try to go above herself and is selling out to try to date a white man.
The black community seems to overall dislike when educated black men date white women because it leaves the black women forced to date the ones abandoning their children, in and out of jail. And yet--for some reason it is still looked upon by black men as an achievement.
For the black woman in the situation it is merely negative connotations but for the black man it is a status symbol, that he is doing good. I guess this is based on that many rappers and NFL stars have white wives.

Because you're coming to terms with the fact that all men of all races have become competition for black women and all women of all races. The more taboos and stereotypes get broken down, the more competition in the dating world you have my friend. Good luck!

Ok...I think its because you're not interested in black men so you don't really care who they date...but I guess seeing a black woman (who you could potentially date) going out with a white man bugs you... think about it :] also my advice to you would be to date women outside of your race, maybe that would help ...

You know the answer. It really is complicated. My take on your response to this scenario, is that because the black woman is with a white guy, you feel rejected, and not as valued. I don't know why. Choice of partners has no reflection on how they value their own culture. It really is a sign of acceptance.

sounds like you take it as a boost to your ego when you see a white woman dating a black man, but a rejection when you see a black woman dating a white man. Maybe you see every black man as an ally, and see every white man as a natural rival.
