You choose a head of time not to have sex before marriage. It is possible! I was a virgin and I'm glad I waited. My husband, daughter, son-in-law, sisters, brothers, etc..... were all virgins!
I highly doubt that everyone is having sex before marriage. If people tell you that, they are liars!

If there is some purpose to your celibacy then I would think that would be sufficient motivation for your adherence. The problem with most people who say, "I want to remain a virgin until I get married," is that they can see no reason to do so. If you don't perceive any real benefit to it, you'll never be able to overcome your natural biological tendency to procreate.
If you want my opinion, and I'm sure you don't, you ought not to be so uptight about sex. Other animals don't freak out about it. It's the most natural thing in the world. Of course you should take reasonable precautions to avoid diseases and unwanted pregnancy. The problem with sex is the unnatural embellishment we give it. Sex feels good and we want to feel good. It's really as simple as that.

As a former muslim, I can tell you that religion is a scam. It's full of hypocrisy as you have pointed out in your description. If you choose to remain a virgin till marriage it should be a choice of your choice, influenced by your own values. Your religion will tell you many things, many rules. But religion was initially organize as a means to control people. Don't let it control you. Your decisions are yours and yours only. If you truly want to remain a virgin, then you will.

You shouldn't have sex (or not have it) only because "everyone else is / isn't doing it"...... this is supposed to be YOUR personal decision, regardless of your religious beliefs.... this is a decision based on self-respect and values, regardless of the country you live in, the religion you were educated in, etc...... So it's up to you to decide whether it's ok FOR YOU to stay a virgin till you get married or not, if you find your true love tomorrow and you want to make love to him even if you don't plan to get married soon, etc....... it's something very personal that only YOU can decide upon.

1. If you are planning on staying married to the same person for the rest of your life,
2. AND you are planning to lose your viriginity to this person,
3. AND you don't plan on cheating on your spouse, that means that in your whole life, you will have had sex with only one person.
If that's okay with you, then you should definitely wait.
If it's not, then do what you feel is right for the moment when it arrives, and remember, always be safe. It's not wrong to have sex before marriage.

Virginity IS over-rated. The hymen IS evolutionary baggage (like the tonsils and appendix.) Go get laid, use a condom, and pick a nice person (someone your age and who cares about you as a person instead of a c um receptacle.) If this doesn't work out for you or you really don't want to, masturbation is ALWAYS the best alternative to getting laid.

Yay you. You just keep telling your self all the benifits that you have by not having sex. No chance of pregancy, or STDs. If what ever person you are with doesn't respect that decision then you dont want to be with that person. You stay strong.

I've always said that virginity if kept, is a honeymoon night punishment for your spouse for marrying you.
No matter how "beautiful" people describe waiting untill marriage, the fact is that everyone's first time is awkward, clumsy and usually painful.

You have to make up up your mind What You want to do then do it. Just because "everyone else" is doing it doesn't mean you have to be a sheep and do it too. There are probably a lot more than you know who are also virgins, they just don't talk about it.
