What does this say to you? Anything new?

"During his life as both religious leader and statesman, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) showed great sensitivity and respect in dealing with the People of the Book, the Jews and the Christians. In the true spirit of divine revelation, the Holy Quran, with which he had been entrusted, Prophet Muhammad forbade harming non-Muslims and asked Muslims to treat them well. He once said, He who harms a Jew or a Christian will find me his opponent on the Day of Judgment."

I am a Converted Sister and Live my Daily life in Islam...Allah has given me strenght and wisdom to face the challenges and the Negativity that this religion & culture faces. But no matter what i still stand strong in the faces of those who do not agree nor like it but i do not lower my self to their standards and ways of life nor should any Muslim! Humdoulilah.....
See my way of thinking is when you come across someone that is non-muslim you should treat them as your sister or brother and welcome them to your beliefs. If they ask questions... answer them! If they ask you why you are a converted muslim... you tell them. Inshallah, they will start to understand and see that this religion is not bad...some think that all muslims are teriosts, well their wrong!
and some also think that all arab persons are from the same country. No one thinks to go and do research before assuming....so therefore you have to stand beside each person as you would your sister or brother in islam. Because when someone is lacking the knowlegde. Maybe you'll be the one who leads or makes some understanding for them. Inshallah we the islams will lead and let people know that their is no wrong and that we all mean good to each and everyone! even when i see people doing drugs, smoking or using allah's name in vein, I still let them know that there is a chance at life and allah loves them dearly.
Hope this hits home for some and Hope you Understand...If NOT please feel free to contact me. Thanks and Have a Wonderful Day! Salam

The way you need to treat a person is not by there color, there religion or where they came from, they way you act towards others is the way you present your self. i think that anyone should thank for there self from what is right and what is wrong because a lot of people just listen to the media and don't question there self about what they see and hear. at this time of the war they think Muslim's are teariest, where not!
that is why Muslims should educate people that don't know about Islam, and help them understand Islam. I am another Muslim trying to make a difference in the world.. love, peace to the Middle East.

if equally is the answer why are thier women not allowed to have an education, or to vote , or to be in public without a male escort . Why is there such great disparity in the caste system. Why did the muslim world dance in the streets and party when the towers came down? Why do thier preachers teach that all jews should die, and that Christians are less than dogs? Who do they think they are fooling? they are mostly just a bunch of pedophile, homicidal maniacs that want to rule the world and enslave everyone that is not exactly like them, and even then they will proceed to kill off themselves because the devil they worship wants misery everywhere continously till the end..

Well, I would expect them to follow the example that their prophet Mohammed gave them at Banu Qurayzah.

'The men were penned up in a closed yard, while graves or trenches were being dug for them in the chief marketplace of the city. When these were ready, Mahomet, himself a spectator of the tragedy, gave command that the captives should be brought forth in companies of five or six at a time. Each company was made to sit down by the brink of the trench destined for its grave, and there beheaded. Party by party they were thus led out, and butchered in cold blood, till the whole were slain. One woman alone was put to death; it was she who threw the millstone from the battlements.'

The people of Banu Qurayza were Jewish. Does this make Mohammed a hypocrite in light of your quote? Yes, I would say so.

Also, note that the exception is made for Jews and Christians (though he did not feel compelled to follow the advice, obviously). Tell me what the Quran says should be done about Hindus?

The terrorists are all going to hell. Possibly they should have read Muhammad's words a little more carefully.

It says that we should treat others equally regardless of religions. If only this can make peace to the world. =)

That's right. Respect is the way to go regardless of religion or culture.

Actions speak louder than words. But it's not new to me, I've heard it before. I've also heard there are basically 2 qurans, one written when Mohammad was trying to recruit followers that was kinder and gentler, and one after he had enough for an army that was militant.
