I have these 'Premonitions' and 90% of the time they come to reality?

Question

I am sacred cuz its been going on for a while but I never use to understand what was going on but now its more clear and I can 'see' entire conversations and events and it comes to fulfillment like a few days after.

Eg: I was out shopping and I had this 'vision' [i dont know what to call these experiences] of my friend going on a plane to the states.He lives in another country from me.So i called him and asked him and he was shocked and asked me how I knew and I couldnt tell him.I was also able to tell him the state too and the date.He said he hadnt even told anyone and he had only thought about it the day before.

I can also give more egs which are pretty serious.Like once I was compelled to talk to this young woman who i dont know and I was quite busy that day and i found out that she was thinking about suicide and was wanting to talk to someone.It was scary.

Someone please tell me what is happening cuz I am beginning to feel like I am going crazy

I also pray about it a lot.

Christians please help me.I'm 22 and I dont understand just what is going on completely.

I'm not joking you all.This is serious thats why am scared.And I dont concentrate or think about it.It just happens.

You have a very powerful gift, and it's nothing to be afraid of. You have the gift of premonition. Embrace it and use it for good.

Ignore the doubting masses their remarks are of no consequence. As I see it with your gift you have two paths... only you can choose.

You can either open yourself to these things in which case you can eventually end up not knowing where the boundaries of "reality" lie. The trick is to control it and not let it control you. You are tapped into a source that we as mere mortals do not understand. We also do not know whether these forces are malevolent or not so just be very careful. Use it for good purposes only if you have to.

On the other hand you can just ignore it and eventually you will become desensitized. Remember, you will never be able to change the fate of others so even if you "Know" what difference will it make in the final analysis. You are the only one that will be carrying the knowledge and that in itself could be a heavy burden. Do you need this in your life?

I have only limited experience with this sort of thing. Here's one thing that has seemed true for me: I can't insist on what I See one day being the same the next day. In other words, when I see Signs, I listen to them and look to allow them to open my heart, especially in service to others ... But when I start trying to insist on getting a vision or on making what I Saw yesterday still apply exactly the same way today and the next day, it doesn't work out.

So, from my limited experience, what I would offer is this: (1) Keep touching the earth, even as your heart opens in seeing, and (2) allow yourself continually to let go of what you saw yesterday, in order to be available for a new and different Understanding today.


EDIT: I'm sorry you've gotten so many hateful and obtuse replies from some others here. It doesn't help when someone is having rich but difficult to understand experiences and other rather clueless folks call you names because of it. You aren't alone.

I have the same thing too. My first big premonition experience was about death. It happened in the spring of 04. I kept getting this strong feeling that someone in my family was going to past in October. I couldn't take it, I didn't know who, I didn't know how, and I just knew that someone was. I prayed and ask god to take that felling away from me. I completely forgot about until my cousin past in October of that year. I also got a premonition that I was going to win the power ball. One mourning I woke up and I just had this overwhelming feeling that one day I’m going to win the power ball(that have yet to come true). I also had premonitions about visits, jobs that have came true.

I have the same thing too...its not so much premonition, but rather prophecy. u can see things before they happen and that is a gift and nothing to be afraid of. God gave that gift to u for a reason, seek Him for the answer.

You're not crazy. This has been happening to me since I was a child. 6th sense, I think everyone has it to an extent.

edit: my cynical hubby always says, "but why can't you win the lottery? You only know when something bad is going to happen!" lol

Don't be scared of such things. And don't ask the extreme christians, for gods sakes. They'll either say you're a prophet or you're possessed-neither of which you are. You're just talented. =)
