I was wondering how long it takes for your weight to adjust to the food you eat. If I am on a healthy diet and then eat fast food when would I see the reults on the scale? How long does food take to get digested and stored? An hour, a day, a week?

Here's a question all of us want the answer to: "How long does it actually take you to lose weight?"- I know this doesn't actualy answer your question but its a solution.

Vicky DeLeon's Fat Story:
From the time I was 15, I just started gaining weight. When I started having kids I gained even more.

I tried everything. Trim Spa, Dexatrim, Metabolife, water pills and even prescription drugs, Xenical and Meridia. At one point I lost 90 pounds on the Meridia but you can only take it so long. When my doctor took me off from it, I gained the weight right back.

I was bound and determined to lose weight. I watched what I ate and at one point, I was working out six hours a day, yoga, cardio, lifting weights. I almost couldn't go to work because I was completely exhausted. My marriage and my family suffered. My husband said, "All you do is work and work out." When I cut my training time down, the little weight I lost came right back on.

We decided to move to Florida because I could be more active all year round. I started swimming. I would lose pounds but they wouldn't stay off. In September of 2005 when we moved to Michigan I applied for a job at MicroNutra Health in customer service and got the job. At that point I weighed 302 pounds. Customers would call in saying how they had lost weight with our supplement, HealthSlim. They convinced me to try it.

I didn't notice any difference at first except I wasn't as hungry. I started losing inches first. My husband and coworkers noticed my clothes were getting roomier. After about one and a half months on HealthSlim I started to lose pounds. I stayed on the HealthSlim till April 2006. In all I've lost 178 pounds. Some of the weight came off after I quit taking it. My metabolism has stayed healthy and I haven't gained any of the weight back. I weigh 124 pounds. I work out for 45 minutes to an hour, three days a week.

My energy level has gone through the roof. I used to have trouble waking up and when I got home from work, put on my pajamas and laid down the rest of the night. I felt like I had no life. Now I go out and play with my kids.

Since using HealthSlim and losing the weight my asthma symptoms are decreased to almost hardly ever using an inhaler. My blood pressure is down. No more pain in my knees and back. I even go roller skating, ice skating and play soccer with my kids. Intimacy with my husband is better, too, 1000% better. I'm more confident and don't have to have the lights off.

Hope Vicky DeLeon's story will help you.

If you eat healthy all the time and you eat fast food once, it's not going to do anything. It's not like it will make you gain 5 pounds or anything. it's okay to eat it once and a while and if you exercise, it's not big deal.
