okay so im told to do cardio exercises. but what should i do ?(like what kind of cardio exercises ?)

Jumping rope, jogging, swimming, going up and down steps, anything that makes you sweat! You know you are doing cardio when you can still talk but cannot sing while you are doing the activity. If you can sing then you need to increase the intensity. If you cannot talk then you need to reduce the intensity.

The best cardio exercise in the world by unanimous decition and none can denied is............... drum roll .......... the one you enjoy doing. Not what you expected right. Well, it is true. What you need to do is find an activity that is fun to you. This way you will never tire of it and you will stick with it. If you don't enjoy it you have already set yourself up for failure. Me personally I like the martial arts. It works all parts of your body. Cardio boxin is fun since you get to hit things like pads and is very intense albeit, is gear towards excercise and not self defense. Some people like running but I find it boring and it always hurt my knees. Swiming is also great but I can never have access to a pool or ocean so that one is out. In short try a few things and the one you feel comfortable with and enjoy doing thats the one that will work for you. I mean I'm talking in general terms. If all you want is exercise then this is true. If you have a more profesional goal in mind then is different. If you want to be a marathon runner for example then running is what you need. otherwise stick to what is fun.

Cardio is basically anything that keeps your heart rate up steadily for a number of minutes. from personal experience I'll have to say the elliptical trainer is very effective, Also the traditional treadmill is good or my absolute favorite if your gym has a treadclimber. After using this machine for 15 mintues you'll feel like you can do anything. Go out there and kick some butt!

if you are good at running, do that. is the the #1 best cardio workout( proven). and if you are not, go for a 30 minute bike ride. or go jogging, walking jumproping, jumping jakcs, anything to get your heart rate up!!!

cycling is good. running, treadmill, stationary bikes. i heard swimming is pretty good also.
