You yourself admit with the statement "and most really dont" that some illegal immigrants do exploit the system, so what if we choose as a nation not to be affected by this? Do I get a choice to refuse to pay taxes that support those who DO exploit the system? No I don't.
Your important concerns seem to be government corruption and global warming, well with government corruption you should be concerned with illegal immigration and have you seen the mountain of trash on our border? What ecological ramifications does that have.
I do believe in live and let live as long as it does not affect any one else but illegal immigration does (those who pay taxes for the exploitation you spoke of, and those who loose jobs or have wages lowered by illegal immigration, not to mention the education system). As for abortion who looks out for the rights of the unborn child and when is the latest you can abort, 4 months, 6 months. Should you be able to use abortion as birth control, How many times can you abort, DOES THE FATHER HAVE RIGHTS, does he get a say so...
Cause and effect, things are not so simple when others are affected.

How can you equate abortion rights with live and let live? Something about that doesn't sound right. And how can you say worry about government corruption, not immigration (I assume you mean the illegal type), when those two things go hand in hand? I don't care what the gays do, and I'm pleased to say that I'm not any type of Catholic. Have a nice day!

Illegal immigration is connected to government corruption and illegal aliens pollute more than legal persons.
So you are for total anarchy? Do you really think people do not have a right of self government?
If you are a catholic, then you must believe in G-d! And what does G-d say about men having sex with men? That it is an abomination DEMANDING of the death of the participants with no liability to those who put them to death. Lev 20:13
Is there any other action that is so denounced?
What if everyone felt as you do (that there should be no law) then would you be able to walk down the street?
Why don't we have post-birth abortion? In post-birth abortion, as long as the child is not registered with the state (ie birth certificate issued) then they can be aborted.
So if you delay the filing of a birth certificate for 5 years, then you will have this time to decide if you really want the child.
What is the difference?

That is a lovely ideal, but not really doable. I think it's woman's perogative as to whether to terminate a pregnancy although unless I'd been raped or were too ill I wouldn't consider it. If live and let live were possible, we'd be doing it. Let's say you live next door to a nudist and he likes jazz at full volume, could you live with that naked jazzster? How about a masochist, he wants to be hurt, would you do that for him? It's not possible to have a society without rules. I think Al Gore made up global warming, what got the dinosaurs, too many vehicles or hairspray? I mean really, it's a natural phenomenon!

Laws are in place for a reason and an illegal immigrant has broken the laws of the land. Illegal immigration is an important issue to many in this country. Religious views have nothing to do with laws being broken. Legal immigration is not the problem.

I disagree with you on this one buddy. I don't believe in "live and let live." I believe in what the Bible says, something that you would do if you were truly Catholic. Maybe you say so because your parents were Catholic? Oh, and let me guess, they were Catholic because their parents were Catholic. You want to have the title but not follow the rules. And I am treating others like I wish they treated me, by following the Bible's teachings. When we try to do whatever we want and let others do whatever they want, we become an anarchy. And no, I won't stop my beliefs from getting in the way. My beliefs are more important than what anyone has to say.

Those who live in the country subsidize education and health care and services for THEIR poor and those who immigrate illegally above quotas designed to protect those services are draining those services and causing them to fail the families of the people who fund them.
It is nothing like abortion or gay marriage, neither of which involve theft from OUR children, OUR sick and OUR poor, who are the ones we fund the services for.

Here is a little lesson.
There are things called laws.
Illegals break them.
The punishment is deportation.
The person that wants to immigrate to my country should respect me enough to obey my country's laws. When they fail to do so they disrespect me and my country, so bye bye.
