If you are talking legal immigration that is easy. Just Stop.
The real problem is the illegal immigration and that is not real hard either. Just use common sense.
Remove the magnets that attract them, get rid of the judges that like to write their own legislation from the bench, enact policies and procedures that work in concert with the law instead of against it.

Examples: Birthright citizenship or anchor babies. The 14th amendment was written to deny birthright citizenship to the offspring of foreigners. There is mounds of incontrovertible evidence recorded in the proceedings of the 39th Congress that will tell you exactly the intent of the 14th amendment and it was never ever to pass out citizenship like a cheap carnival prize.

We can protest the government, send in many complaints, have rallies, and other events that come to the imagination; if there is enough people willing to do it. If you hold these events in the major cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, D.C. or New York City. Our leaders today or for the future are more likely hear it and do something about it. If the illegal immigrants can come into our country and have protests to have rights as citizens (which is absurd) why don't we all stand together as Americans and do the same.

we need to embrace it. Find ways to make immigration, both legal and illegal, a good thing. Stopping immigration is preventing people in bad situations who need help just so we can save a couple of tax dollars.

Build a radioactive fence around the US. Let nobody in and let nobody out. That way we prove that we hate foreigners and confirm they probably hate us. Stop student and work visas.

Any country that deliberately encourages the migration of it's citizens, like Cuba, Mexico, Gutemala, Panama, Haiti, etc. to the US are to be considered nations of hostile intent and put on notice. Any future violations looked upon as a threat to the security of the United States and an act of war.

Any illegal alien entering a hospital or medical institution not permitted to leave. You go in, you don't come out. Once care is rendered, deportation proceedings begin and the hospital required to sue the alien's country of origin. All legal expenses in the suit 100% tax deductible.
