Say a small, white, round button with a red circle on the edge and a red diagonal line through it and in the background a black cross and the black silhouette of a man standing behind a pulpit and holding up an open book.

I'm not saying I'd wear one myself (Canada is -so- different from America), but I'm pretty sure there is a market for it.

It would be a way for those who are tired of being preached at to signal other 'preachers' that they've heard the word and have rejected it.

What do you think?

Well it could be universally used, like when used cars salesmen start preaching and hawking their goods, and when politicians get up and preach about stuff.. Beauracrats who hide behind policy and preach it as though they had something to gain from sticking to it like glue while real people suffer.

Universal market, not just Christianity would be afected.

I personally feel bad for you! All you do is complain and whine about everything and everyone. This selfless love you claim is focused on how 'things' make you feel. What have you done recently for someone else? Self pity ain't getting you no where but running in circles.

I think it would be a great idea for students in public schools who do not want to be preached at by the students in the student run bible clubs etc. Under the "equal access" laws, student initiated bible clubs are allowed. I don't have a problem with like minded students wanting to get together for support & fellowship, but the purpose for these organizations, are to try and convert the great unwashed masses. (otherwise, they could just meet at their churches) For those members of the "great unwashed masses who don't wish to be proselyzed, I think the pins would be great.

Technically, if student run bible clubs are allowed to meet, so would atheist clubs, skeptic clubs & Pagan clubs, but very often ONLY the Christian clubs are allowed to meet, & schools make up new rules when non-Christian clubs try & get in on the so-called "equal" access. I think the pins would be great, since for the non-Christians, getting their own support group in a public school would usually be very difficult.

Good idea, but, if I know christians, and I do, that pin would become a challenge to them. It might have the opposite effect. You could try it and see what comes about. Regardless, I think it has marketing value. Just to say you have one.

Excellent idea, but without the cross. I definitely see a market for it.

I'm certain that you could find a market. There is a catalog called "What On Earth" that might market it.
