Who is more ignorant, those who dont believe in God & talk about him, or those who talk about him and believe?

In this forum, there are more atheists than any other thing. I just dont understand how someone can talk about a God they dont believe in. Atheist claim that they come to this forum because the questions appear in the main page of yahoo answers, which is false, if they say that so many question appear there.

My question is, why dont you attack other religions as your attack Christianity. I am not saying that you should, but why.
Many of the atheists behave in a immature way, making the most senseless questions. I am not saying all of the, but a big majority.

Sarcasm and atheists go hand by hand, not in all cases. Many of them may not have the knowledge or maturity to talk about the topic. Being an atheists is the easiest thing to do. all you have to do is believe in evolution and offend Christian.

The claim to be pissed off because Christian tell them they will burn for ever in hell. Real Christian do no say so, jut the fakes one. There is not eternal burning

So,why the hate?

They say "nobody kill in the name of science, but in the name of religion." But created weapon? Science or religion? Can you name a Christian terrorists group? Other than Bush and Cheney, fake Christians by the way.

Have you at all noted the condescending, judgemental tone of your own posting??? By your title alone, I can assume that you feel atheists are more ignorant than others...

This is a common "excuse" of Christians - anyone who does commit a sin or a grevious act is simply labeled "not a real christian". Convenient. So, I guess the KKK isnt Christian - but Id LOVE to see YOU tell them that.... I could also point out the various abortion clinics and doctors that have been bombed and shot since the 1980s - but they arent real Christians to you, so whats the point?

The truth is, I do question other religions, But, I live in the USA where Christianity is a majority, and where Chrisitans such as yourself are attempting to legislate your beleifs into laws that afffect myself and others that are not Christians.

Edit: Oh don't be an idiot. Things are just things until they're used. Btw, Christians DID create most weapons, especially in the US where the Christians are the majority. The only weapon that comes to mind that was created by an Atheist is splitting the atom, but a bomb was not Einsteins intended creation. He wanted to use it for the power it would give (meaning electricity). It was the gvt that turned it into a bomb. And lets think about this.... the majority of the Presidents were all what..... CHRISTIAN.

So stop your holier than thou crap. Its getting old.

And while you're at it, go back to school and study history so you can grow a brain.

You have a very skewed view of reality. Atheists would attack other views if they behaved as christianity. Not to mention most of your reasons for why you don't like atheists are behaviors shown by both sides (in this particular case), yet when it's the ones you perceive as the "good guys" doing it, you probably think it's justified and relevant.

I suggest reading a few of the "christian" questions, and try to see it as someone who doesn't believe. If that isn't enough reason for why atheists seem to hate, check out some of the laws and regulations christians have tried to impose on nonbelievers. Gay marriage is a hot topic one right now.

Christianity is the most prominent in impeding our right to be with out religion so naturally it's the focus of the most resentment

but personally I don't consider any of the Abrahamic religions really different from each other you all believe in the same god whether you like it or not

Buddhism and Hinduism don't force themselves upon us so I don't even have the need to refute their claims

also not all questions deserve an honest answer

Isn't that like putting the blame on a pencil for misspelling words?

If I make a spear to hunt pigs with and bob the religion guy picks up the spear and stab me because i don't believe in his god then its his fault for making the act not mine for making the tool.

I'm a Christian, and I wouldn't call either group ignorant. You're just asking to be attacked and it's not really respectful. Christians aren't ignorant because we have the faith to know that God is real. Atheists are not ignorant either. They just haven't found the faith yet, that we have; for them, seeing is believing. I can see where they're coming from, I just don't agree with it. But I also don't think they need to be condescending or disrespectful to us either.

I don't hate christians or any other believers, and I answer questions directed to all religions and beliefs.

I come here for the debate, and to learn about other beliefs. I also come here because religion affects us all, no matter whether we are believers or not.

Sometimes questions are so lame that sarcasm is the only way to answer them.

Christian terrorist organisations: IRA and UVF, to name only 2 off the top of my head.
