I remember when I was little, my older brother and I walked into the bathroom after my grandmother just finished getting out of there. There was part of a tomato floating in the toilet. It actually smelled foul, but somewhat acidic as well. Isnt it possible to die of eatting many tomatoes?

No it's not possible to die from eating tomatoes. There is folklore from 100's of years ago that children should never eat tomatoes.

It's probably just that your grandmother's system didn't fully digest the tomato.

Tomatoes are actually very healthy. The skin does act as fiber. There are also anti-aging and heart healthy.

Now I do have to wonder... was Grandma passing undigested tomato or had she been snacking on the toilet? I have known other older women who find nothing at all gross about eating while using the bathroom. So who knows!

Tomato skins are very hard to digest and sometime make it through the human body in pieces like corn does. I've never heard of someone dieing of eating too many tomatoes.

I hear they are anti-aging so i suppose your grandma, despite her having odd things floating around her pottie is looking young as ever
