God does not hate you. What few understand is your life stinks because man thought he could rule himself. In fact, Satan challenged God with just this argument.
God has allowed time for this challenge to be settled. That is why the Bible shows Satan is the ruler of this world now. (John 14:30; Eph. 2:2; 2Cor. 4:4; 1Cor. 10:20; Luke 4:5-7; Daniel 10:13,20; Ephesians 6:12; 1John 5:19) He is clearly the reason for all this pain and suffering.
Things will not always be the same. Soon God will say, "Times up!" and will take back control and rulership of the earth. Then will humans have great lives in peace and happiness.

If you are truly trying to live a Christian life, you should know that God does not hate you. The Bible states that the rain falls on the just and the unjust. That means that bad things happen to everyone, even Christians. Perhaps it is to test your faith. If you hang in there, pray, and have faith in God, you will get through the bad things and be much stronger when it is over. I thought God was wrong and hated me when my mother had cancer and died. But, since then, I am a much stronger person. Worse things than a family death have happened since then, and I managed to get through them much better. I have even been thankful that my mother went to be with Jesus before these other things came about. They would have broken her heart.

The very fact that you're trying to be a "good Christian" is the reason your life is getting worse. As a christian, you are supposed to follow Christ. You're supposed to study God's word and allow the holy spirit to guide you. Your goodness is not acceptable to God, because your motives are suspect. Begin to follow Christ and your life will change.
The idea that God hates you comes from satan, who is the author of lies. Stop following the world and follow Christ.

God doesn't hate you. If you have some preacher who is telling you that you suffer because God is punishing you, then you need to find a better church.
Through our suffering, we have the opportunity to participate in Christ's suffering on the Cross. Ask God to show you how you can bring about good in the world through your suffering. I know it's hard to imagine, but when you get your eyes off yourself and onto Jesus, you start to see what's possible.

Re examine your definition of "good christian". Then determine whether it's really that your life is getting worse or whether you're being caught up in the world and (ex.) since your parents didn't buy you a car when your best friends parents bought them one, your life is crappy. Then, come back to God, give Him everything. Rejoice that you can serve Him any way.
Since you didn't give enough info, I had to take the callous route. Sorry. But it sounds whiney.
