I met someone at a club 2 weeks ago and she said she would not take me home because she met me in a bar. This weekend she was there again but I blew her off. I decided that if I am just a guy at the bar to her and would not do anything to make me happy because of it I was better than that. Besides I thought it was pretty rude to try to make herself better than I when technically she is a chick that was met at a bar.

So I had a good time dancing with other gals and did not give a crap if I met anyone or not.

Oh, and she did pick up someone else and at the end of the night I saw her leave with him. So I kept my pride and possibly even my health.

Anyone interested in my weekend may view my youtube on the National Bikers Roundup vid I done.

Let clear the air, There is a difference between going out to get lAid and hitting it off with someone you really are attracted to in hopes of a relationship.

Pride is a sin and for good reason. No one is anything on their own merits - everyone is taught what they know, how they behave; even inherent qualities such as good looks, athletic ability, and intelligence are accidents of birth, a product of something your parents caused. So however 'great' you may be, or may have acted, you could just as easily have been the person who is 'rubbish', or who makes errors of judgement.

Doing the right thing shouldn't be seen in terms of pride since doing so means elevating oneself - which inclines one to looking down on certain others.

It's fine to be a good role model, but always remember that all humans are 'works in progress' i.e. everyone always has room for personal improvement.

That said, your behaviour *was* uncommon and *does* show real character and personal integrity. Good for you (and less good for those who aren't as wise or strong willed).

ummm...let it go. she has a right to turn you down if she wants. she maybe was trying to let you down easy. the difference is though, she may have known the guy before and went home with him. she may not be the type to have sex with guys she meets in a bar...whereas you would have sex with a girl you met at a bar (at least you implied you would) so try not to get so butt hurt and meet someone else. but don't just go after girls to get laid...that's demeaning and trashy.

WTG giving the ladies a little payback, its about time us guys start thinking with our heads , rather than our Dic*s. You've made me proud of being a guy. No disrespect for the ladies.

Proud of you? Well, I would be if you had done it for the right reasons - to go out and have fun instead of trying to make her jealous.
Maybe you think she was trashy for going home with that guy, but remember you wanted to be that guy last week . . . Hmmm . . . something to consider.

As long as you feel comfortable with your decision, that's what matters.

Yes. That is something you should be proud of! If it was meant to happen then it would've happened.
