The use of sanded or unsanded grout depends on the width of the gap between tiles. Usually unsanded grout is used with up to a 3/16" gap. Sanded is recommended for larger gaps.

Tile on fiberglass is not a good idea due to fiberglass will flex and thus cracking your tile or breaking loose your grout. the best way is to remove the fiberglass enclosure and go back with green board or hardy backing then tile over. Bet you really wanted to hear that huh...good luck
