Guys I need some help from you construction people. What is this for, and what does it mean? Here's a link to a picture: http://www.maj.com/gallery/gpn1975/gpn1975/august_1st_009.jpg
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I should also mention that this is at an amusement park near Toronto. Canada's Wonderland.

I agree with Carl. This is typical marking on a construction site. It could be marking a benchmark marker also. If it was for marking a dangerous area, it should have had the proper tape stating it is a danger to enter this area. Doesn't always happen though. At least it's marked.

It would appear that someone has marked that area for a possible excavation / or they are marking a possible hazard /or it could be there to identify something such as a lid to a septic tank..
