I need the following details included in the copy:
Date: Aug 15th
Time: 6PM-8PM (6-7 – Networking) (7-8Pm the program)
Topic: Bridging the Gap between Traditional & Online Advertising
Panelists include:
Mary Sinclair & Mike Reid, Time Magazine
Rob Haas, Rodgers Townsend
Some copy points could be:
How do you add Online Advertising into your Media Mix?
How do you leverage Interactive to make traditional media more efficient?

Here’s what another organization used for their copy:

"Today’s consumer has infinite choices always available on-demand – a trend that has created a nation of hyper multi-taskers who are likely to be watching television while surfing the net. How are marketers adapting to this ever changing media landscape?
We'll hear leading brands describe how they’re integrating multi-platform marketing including creative strategy, organization structure, and media planning. "
I need something similar to that quote with the above details included. HELP!!

What? Do you want someone else to write your copy for you? What type of job do you have? This is basically a blurb or trailer for a television panel program, maybe public TV?

I'm a writer. When I can't write short term, I go see a movie, take a walk, watch TV come back to it.

Long-term block is difficult, but you just have to make yourself sit down. Make a list of information you want to convey in sentences, just like you would speak them. Rearrange the sentences so that they are in a better order, that is, similar sentences put together, more important details up on top. Now divide into paragraphs.

Check and see that no information has been left out. Rewrite the sentences if necessary to be more precise or informative or descriptive.

With a blurb, you want the whole thing, esp the first couple of sentences to be witty, sharp, attention-getting. So rewrite those until they're sharp.

Take a look at the whole assignment. Check for flow, wording problems, generally edit it.

Just keep poking at it until you've got what you want.

I hope this helps. I suffer from depression so when I have a deadline it's very upsetting and difficult to sit down and write. The trick is to get the skeleton plot down on paper, fill it in, and edit it until it's beautiful. But that skeleton plot is the hard part. Filling in details, dialog, etc. isn't hard, and editing is fun. But getting the basic theme and outline of the story is the hardest to me, and the most difficult to make myself work on.

I'm here, if there's something I can do for you.
