Actually, I don't know why you made such a relation in your question. Being romantic does not mean at all spending money, what will a magical smile cost you? how much will you pay for speaking sweet words? or what would be the cost of showing sympathy with others? or may you think that you have to pay money for being helpful as much as your hand can reach, are not all of those romantic things? at least I see them so. Romance is not only between lovers (a man and a woman), in my opinion, it should be between all people.

Without any money hmm well he would just have to start by complementing you and mayne taking you for a walk or drive and go see some local sights and just talk and get connected. The only way he can be romantic is to know what you find romantic. Trust me im a right ROMEO lol oh you like puppies a trip to the RSPCA then lol oh you like flowers how about a park, you like chocolates well I guess we will have to walk it Cadbury land and just smell the chocolate in the air, cant spend any money you see.

Me and my boyfriend decided not to do anything major for valenties this year due to lack of money. I got home from work to find that he'd cooked a really romantic dinner. Candles, perfectly laid table - the whole works. It didn't really cost anything but it was so thoughtful and romantic - I enjoyed it more than going out for a meal!!

Hi mirror,

I asked my gf "if you could have a soundtrack, for your life, which songs would you pick?"

She told me.

I started reserving the individual cds from the library.
As they came in, I burned the songs on her soundtrack list.

It took 2 months to get all the songs she wanted, but it was free.

Handed the cd to her and she had completely forgotten about the conversation and was just ecstatic to have these songs. Some were from when she was a little girl.

She has been playing this non stop for a week now.

It made her day and didn't cost a dime.

Cook her a meal. It could just be something from the freezer, but if you make an effort it will be worth it.
I know you don't want to rob flowers from a garden, but one of the most romantic things I ever saw growing up was my grandad picked a single red rose from a garden and gave it to my nanna without saying a word. It made me see how much he adored her.

Prepare dinner...take her for a nice walk in a park or on the beach. Write a love letter or poem. Suprise her and pick her up at her job. Give her a nice massage and bathe her by a scented candle lights while playing soft music. Look her in her eyes while holding her hand than whisper in her ear I love you and you are one of the best things that ever happen to me.

1) Bringing her a cup of coffee in the morning while she is getting ready for work,
2) randomly wrap his arms around her and hug her while they are doing mundane chores or errands like grocery shopping,
3) text her or email her once in a while just to wish her a good day and let her know that she has crossed your mind.
4) Tell her she is beautiful when she has no makeup on and is lounging around in her pajamas.
5) Hold her hand while driving or walking somewhere.

That all comes from knowing the woman. You would have to find out her like or dislikes, to get a feel on what she has sentimental value on. So if it is walking in the park like her dad used to do during the sunset, then do it. Usually picnics, walks, museums, botanical gardens, a card made with construction paper and (her favorite cereal) cherrios....LOL....that type of thing.

make a really nice dinner for the girl. ie. cook something really nice, dim the lights, light a few candles, put a nice table cloth on the table, pull her chair out for her when she goes to sit down, compliment her, be a true gentleman.

Bath. ie. fill up the bath tub. light candles around the tub. turn off the lights.
