It seems like recently I've been getting light-headed everytime I have caffiene. Does anyone know why that happens?

Caffeine is a stimulant, a drug. The more caffeine you have in your system at one time, the more side effects you could have. This seems to be the case even more so with some of the natural caffeine sources such as coffee and very strong tea. There are chemically engineered caffeines now that do not seem to give you as many side effects. General side effects of caffeine overdose that I have noticed are generally what people call "jitters" or more specifically nausea, shakes, light-headedness, and frequent urination. Of course I imagine the side effects could be different for different people.

Yes! Days when I drink too much caffeine I get light headed and I sometimes get a headache. The other thing to think about, however, is the amount of sugar that you are drinking or eating with the caffeine. The sugar can also make you light headed.

Sure do. I used to get that alot. Now I can't drink coffee much.
It's a common problem developing a sensitivity to caffeine,
plain and simple. So start buying the decafinated coffee and
teas and sodas. You'll feel much much better when you aren't
overloading your system with caffeine. If you keep it up, you'll
have dizziness and an imbalance sooner or later. It's affecting
your nervous system and you don't want to mess with Mother
Nature.

well i drink like 3 to 6 cokes a day and i never get light headed unless i been outside then drink one i get dizzy but not sitting around the house

Caffeine is a stimulant and stimulants raise your blood pressure. That can make you lightheaded.

Caffeine from coke or from coffee? The artificial sweeteners in soda cause allergic reactions in many. Why not cut down ?
