ihave noticed a family member coughing for several days now she has no fever or allergies could this be a sign of sumthing severe

allergies, lots of the plant seeds (pollen) are hitting the airwaves on WLOW Oldies but Goodies------ooopppsss!! Got a little carried away,,sorry.

She could be developing an allergy: Sometimes allergies are sneaky like that.

Is your family member a smoker? If so, she should quit: The cigarettes *are* creating a potentially very serious problem.

Is there a lot of dust where you live? If so, get an air cleaner, and get used to vacuuming and dusting a lot with a damp cloth.

If she continues coughing, take her to a doctor.

Coughing, in the absence of other symptoms, could be nothing, or it could be an indicator of a serious problem. Your family member should go see a doctor.
