Definitely a MAC. Mac's come loaded with great software you can't even buy for a Windoze computer. No viruses, no blue screen of death, it just works. It will even run Vista, probably better than a PC does! The newest version of Mac OS is truly awesome. It will be at least 2-3 years before windoze figures out Leopard and tried to copy it like they do with all Mac stuff.

I can't answer the question since I haven't used Windows Vista. This is just to clarify: iMac is the desktop model of MacIntosh: The personal computers line produced by Apple. The operative system those computers use is OS X. So I think the question would be WHICH DO YOU PREFER: WINDOWS VISTA OR MAC OS X?
Btw.... As I told you, I haven't tried Vista, but it should be extraordinary to make me change from Mac to Windows.

purchase a Mac. That way you may set up Vista whilst it comes out and have the better of the two worlds. you may play all the Vista video games, run modern-day variations of workplace for Vista, run an insane quantity of loose application that basically works on abode windows, and of direction all the Adobe layout application runs on Vista. And whilst the designers and wannabes come around, you may reboot into OS X. i do no longer understand what you may prefer to do in OS X, yet you may continually boot into it.

Out of those choices, I would choose Windows Vista, I suppose . . . I've never gotten used to the Mac's user interface, so it would take me longer to become optimally productive in that environment. Windows Vista can be configured to give a much more familiar feel to it.

I am pc guy myself, If you prefer flashy stuff I would say go with mac, untill Vista was released. If you have the right sytem requirements Vista can leave mac os in the dust. So my opinion mac started the war, now pc has brought in the big guns, GO VISTA!
