He has more important things to tend to...i don't think he affects football games.

God is all loving, ever forgiving.
Game of sports is about entertainment, pleasure. So it is materialism. His blessings can be sought by all players in the teams, referees, and fans. But the human element is what brings the result of who wins and who loses.
So the whole concept of God, this everloving creature will NEVER get into use of Drugs, Yelling, Swearing, Drinking, etc in the game of Superbowl or as a matter of fact any games. This has nothing to do with teams from the so called 'bible belt' not winning the superbowl. (What is bible belt nowadays anyways? )

Sure, fans pray for their team to win, but you also have to consider what God has in store for each of those players. God has a plan for each of those players on the football team, as well as their coaches and everyone else involved.
I am obviously not God, nor could I ever have the knowledge that He does, but He might have a team loose so that some of the players can reflect on what might have been and see where they can improve. Maybe some of those football players are not as close to God as He might want them to be. Sometimes you need devestation in your life to find God, that is unfortunate but true. I am a huge Steelers fan, and it made be sooo happy to see Bettis finally get his Super Bowl ring after all those years. There were plenty of times we could have won the Super Bowl before then, but God had his own path for each of those players.
Who wins a football game is not decided on which side prays harder. It is what God has in store for each human being that effects the outcome of the game.

I really don't think that God gets involved in deciding which team wins a football game.

Silly girl, don't you know the game was decided before people were even created. Remember God has a plan, which obviously includes football, but the outcome is already known by him....because he knows all. So all that praying is just for him to know that you have choose him, but of course he already knew that you did or didn't...wow that isn't very sporting of him. My head hurts.

Prayer is not a "hevenaly wish list" To think that God involves him self in a game of "who wins" mocks the very concept of God.. If you think that, that is what prayer if for, that explains why this country has gone to hell at a full run,.

God does not micro-manage his people and the world and would not involve himself in a football game unless he had a good reason. If God was managing the world so closely we would be nothing more than robots not beings with free will.

No, no. God can't decide who wins. It all depends on how well you do it! Even the almighty God can't see into the future. Hope this helps!
