b/c i've liked//i like athletic guys((and i'm athletic...in my opinion)), so i'm wondering if they like athletic girls, too. you know, active, fit, healthy...into sports..
b/c i've heard that athletic guys like girly girls b/c they don't want to go out w/ someone who reminds them of theirselves...
just wondering if that's true.

Well, I guess it all depends on the guy, but still, let me know your opinion.

It certainly does help to have a common interest. Athletic girls tend to be more attractive, but I like a girl that's nice, funny and confident a lot more. You don't have to be an athlete to be hot. If you get along, and are attracted to each other, that's where it's at.

It totally depends on the guy. But...

Athletic women are generally considered to be healthier, in better shape, etc. This sends out natural/biological signals to men which they will naturally find attractive. I.e. it's a human biology thing. People as animals, ya know?

Of course, the human species is so varied that all different kinds of men are interested in all different kinds of women - variety is the spice of life!

There's no magic formula on paper for what will be "best". And you can't generalize all "athletic guys". Everyone is different.

Find a guy who is into your body - *but also* into your mind, your soul, your heart, and who loves you exactly the way you are - and would still love you even if your body changed completely - and you'll be happy.

Good luck!

Some guys do and some guys don't. Some guys don't like girls who are competition towards them. Some guys like the fact that there girl is athletic and most of the time that is what they like. It really all depends on the guy.

I hang out with guys every day and some tell me that they want that love and basket ball relationship when they can shoot around cause thats another connection
but my other boy friends say that they dont want a girl who play basketball because they dont want a girl to bust they apple sugar sugar in ball.

I honestly dont think guys like sporty girls. They might play ball with you but they gonna look at you like one of the guys depending on what sport u play

well i am a pretty athletic guy and i am attracted to athletic girls, but most men are afraid that the athletic girl might beat them in a sport and it hurts our self-esteem. that is what i believe

its not that you remind them of themself its just that they dont like girls that they are equal to.they like girls that are either cheerleaders or dont do anything.they like to show girls how manly they are with sports.trust me!!i play just about every sport the guys do and im fit and healthy and only the nerds ask me out.

I would think that they would, because they'd have more things in common together, and be able to bond over the similar activities that they may do?

I would think this would be a big plus, as this way they are more into the same type of recreation
