Depends what I'm making. Long grain white for fried rice, Spanish rice and rice pudding. Whole grain brown or wild rice for most other things.

I buy rice a roni in chicken and brocoli flavor, beef flavor, and wild rice flavor. If i make long grain rice i cook it in chicken broth and add thyme and rosemary to the stock and cook it with the rice and it makes it so good and has a hint of herb goodness without overpowering it...

really depends on what you making for the main meal.
spanish, new orlean style rice (found in a box) I like to eat with chicken grilled or fried (like the user above said, you top with cheese for the grilled chicken)
white plain or brown rice for beef stew and other red meat. (the gravy made with the meat can be used to pour over the plain rice)
you can also never go wrong with rice and peas.

Lipton's Rice & Sauce taste great and are very easy to cook. We like the herb & butter, the garlic & butter and the pilaf. We also like saffron, spanish and regular white rice. I make white rice with butter and worcestershire sauce.

Usually instant brown rice, and I add my own spices and chopped veggies, and sometimes top with melted cheese. Some of the Lipton Rice mixes are yummy, but they are high sodium, so I prefer to use plain brown rice and add my own "extras" to it.

Depends on what it is that I am eating. If its a mexican dish I will have some sort of pilaf, if its chinese I will have white rice. If its persian food I will have rice with saffron. It will vary depending on what I eat.

depends on what you have with it..With chicken I love wild rice..with beef white rice and with oriental food brown or white rice..If you have gravy use white or brown rice..If your looking for the healthiest rice then go with brown or wild rice..You can spice up any rice by cooking it in broth instead of water..gives it plenty of flavor..just use the appropriate broth for the meat..Beef broth for beef and chicken broth for chicken or pork dishes..hope this was help full..

I love Carolina White Rice I add a little chicken (bouillon) flavor to it
or keep it white - - with just a trace of white vinegar butter and salt/ - the white vinegar (just a teaspoon) keep it fluffy.

My "default" rice is always basmati. I love the flavor and texture. White rice is so dull compared to it. And I always screw up brown rice. :)
