I cannot find the total for the whole city, but a June 2006 "State of the Borough" report from Queens County (released in March 2007) claims that almost 170 languages are spoken there. Since it is the city's "most diverse borough" I imagine the total for the city is similar.
See the following report, p.3 (= p. 7 of the pdf file)
http://www.osc.state.ny.us/osdc/rpt3-2007queens.pdf
And here's something that might be more useful -- a table from the MLA Data Center, which lists 101 languages for Queens County (sorted by number of speakers) -
http://www.mla.org/map_data_results&state_id=36&county_id=81&mode=geographic&zip=&place_id=&cty_id=&ll=all&a=&ea=&order=r
If you're wondering why it differs from the study report number note that some of the entries group languages together when each of them is very small, e.g., "African languages" for various small groups of African languages not big enough for the study to give each its own listing. But it does list as specific languages those with as few as 24 speakers!!

more than you can count on your fingers and toes!
the most prominent: arabic, spanish, english, french. there are others that i don't recognize but if you know what those languages sound like, you'll definitely be able to pick them out in a crowd.
