AHHH, ONLY have a thousand dollar limit for your 13th b-day.... poor whittle baby.... I'm sorry for the sarcasm - I am seriously jealous cos I usually got MAYBE a $100 for every b-day... anyway - take $500 of it and buy a nice USED 175 or 250 c.c. dirt bike that runs great but doesn't look that cool - this way you can get in LOTS of practice, maybe drop it a few times in the dirt and it won't really matter - - in a few years you can get yourself something MUCH better. Take the other $500 and get the best helmet, knee and elbow pads and jacket you can get - then ENJOY!!!

Only a limit of $1000? I think you are a little spoiled there. If you have that kind of limit, you could probably get a very nice fourwheeler and have money left over. The same goes for a dirt bike if you look in the right places. We saw a pink four wheeler that we wanted to get our daughter and it was 600. Just look around to find what you want and go from there. I had more fun on a 4 wheeler bc you can fit more friends on it than a dirt bike, plus you can go mudding with a 4 wheeler. I love it!

I think you should buy a couple of movies, maybe some books and cd's, and some outfits for school. Then I think you should donate the rest to a charity that does work with children or a local pet rescue. While its very generous of your parents, you don't need a gift worth a thousand dollars and that money could do alot of good.

$1000 is a lot of money for anyone for a birthday much less a 13 year old girl. I'm assuming you really don't need anything. Perhaps you could ask your parents to put the cash in a bank account for you. You could save it for when you decide on something you really want (future prom dresses, your 16th birthday, a car) or even save up for college. Just a thought. Happy Birthday!
