You don't say how old you are - if you're a teenager or young person you should be wary of who exactly you're talking to, as it may be a predator.
If you're an adult - go for it! As another person said, it's safe! It also allows you to form a connection with the guy and you can learn more about each other.
Just, be careful as you never know who's out there. And good luck!

ohhh honey be careful, use protection, like spyware, I was in the same boat as you and I got so many viruses, I thought I would rip my PC apart! When I was on line the talk was hot, and made for a real good hard drive, but then, for some reason I cant understand, it went from a hard drive to a floppy disc in about 2 megagiga bites, some just can not handle it, they dont have the memory of an elephant! Well, I thought I would die if I did not have cyber sex every day, so I got careless and just started opening up any old invitation that came my way...you know it, I was trying to get on top of my PC, fell off, ripped my USB right out of the hole, caught my ankle in it, fell off the monitor and broke my processor, and really screwd up my optical drive...now I dont know if I can ever trust in the cyber world again, and oh....how I miss those midnite spammings we used to have....but alas....my cyber love sent out his love to some newer younger version of Compaq, but that is okay, I will delete, and return with my mouse held high, for now I am on to new Windows Vista!

You have a male that you chat with, not a boyfriend if you two haven't even met yet. It is all fantasy and either one of you could be lying or embellishing things to the other. As for the cyber sex that is your choice but remember to be very careful of info you share and/or pics that you send as they may end up on any number of porn sites either now or after you are no longer chatting with each other. My advice, be careful.

If that's what you two like then, I guess its okay. However, if its only what "he" likes then you should talk to him about the way you feel about it. You shouldn't do it just because he likes to. Plus, that's not all a relationship is about. Plus, if this is not strictly an online dating thing you should try weening it offline somehow rather through calls/letters/whatnot. There should be more to a relationship than just the computer alone in other words.

No, if you ever meet him in person he'll be expecting more than cyber sex. You're playing on dangerous ground. That might be the old ax murder you have there. No one is who they claim when they are hidden on-line.

seriously get out in the real world and meet someone the normal way. Its not that hard, just be yourself. there is someone out there for you. dont sit at home in front of your computer 24/7 fantasising over someone who is probably in there 60s jerking off over you.

It is not something I would do but if you really like this guy, then it doesn't really matter what you do. But when you first meet him dont go anywhere with him til the second time.
