Love the name Liam. I don't personally like MacKenzie for a boy. I have a neice named MacKenzie. Not a strong boys names at all. I like Liam James, Liam Connor or Liam Nicolas.

You can't get more Scottish than James. I also like the Gaelic given-name Lachlan (as in Lachlan Macquarrie, father of Australia).
