Normally my mom would make them, but she's in the hospital. So, I'm kinda lost. I know how to cook just not this. All I know is cheese and chicken and tortillas. uh... do I use butter or a spray can? Do you put beans in quesadillas or is that nachos? I can't remember. And what about that orange/yellowish sauce, how do you make that? If you want to offer me a new way to make them I'm open to something different, I just don't know what to do and food network didn't help. I'm need to feed five people. I wish my dad would just go to taco bell!

You can put whatever you want in you quesadillas.

To make quesadillas you put some oil in a frying pan, then you put a tortilla in there and put cheese with chicken, beans, sweetcorn, tomatoes or whatever you want on one side and fold the other side over it. While you fry it the tortilla will get golden and stiff. Then you just turn it over and fry the other side.

If you want to use chicken you should cut it in small strips and fry it first with some cajun spice or something similar before you put it into the quesadilla.

Here is how I make mine:

Boil chicken in water with some enchilada seasoning - one of those "old el paso" packets you can get in the spice isle - use about half a pack. After chicken is done, shred it. Put chicken with chopped onions, green peppers, red peppers and colby jack shredded cheese on half of the tortilla, fold over and put it on the skillet. I do not use butter or oil or anything, it still gets chrunchy with out it. When the cheese is melted and tortilla is done, I cut it into thirds and serve with sour cream.

Hope this helps!

Well we make them using butter, but you can use spray. We dice up the chicken, cook it alone first then add it to cut up green, red, yellow or orange bell peppers and slices of yellow or white onions, cook the peppers then add the chicken to keep it warm and give it a little of the onion and pepper flavor. I top with shredded quesadilla cheese and use sour cream to dip my quesadillas. You could make up some re-fried beans, add a little salsa and alot of cheese to the beans, top with sour cream.

sprinkle a package of taco seasoning on chicken breasts and pan fry in olive oil/butter till juices run clear. remove from pan and shred chicken into pieces with fork.
put some butter in pan then add one flour tortilla and top with chicken, cheese, salsa. place another tortilla on top and turn over to cook other side.
