youre a bi*ch. Your bf should get the hell outta town fast. This is a huge red light that you will end up making him very unhappy and wishing he had married that other girl he used to be with, or some girl he already knows who will treat him with some real love, love of the body, mind, and soul...not some blood diamond. you disgust me, and I hope many women post similar comments like this one to show you that you stink like a rotten skunk 3 days gone, It's women like you the word whore describes best. Good luck ruining your boys life.

This has to be a hoax. No guy is that spineless. At least I hope not. But I will play along. What the hell.
(The below is said with sarcasm. For the most part anyway)
Of course it's a good idea! Then down the road when he REALLY resents you and wants you strung up he can make you a deal. It goes something like this:
Him: "B#$%@^, remember when you cut my balls off, removed my spine and forced me to see everything I owned just to get you a F&*$^#& ring?"
You: "Yes, dear"
Him: "Your turn. Start walking the streets and standing on street corners!"
Then you dress like Britney Spears and take the night shift on the corner of Main Street and somewhere.

That is not right. It should not be the size of the ring that you are the most worried about. Maybe you are too young and immature to have your bf buy you a diamond ring. I would say that he should dump your a** now while he can still get away from your gold digging ways.

I know you are testing Y! Q & A people...LOL. I won't be surprised with some answers you'll get here but anyway, to answer you, I think that's selfish, asking him to sell "everything he owns" to "buy you the biggest diamond ring in the world"? Ummm, that's just greedy, extremely materialistic and I'm sure he deserves better!

Girl, it's not about the size of the rock. It's the sentimental value. It means you are ready to commit to the next step in the relationship. If you keep on forcing it on him, he may not buy you a ring at all and break up with you. Is that what you really want?

Giggle Bear, very bad idea. Although he may be more then willing to do so at present believe me he will come to resent this over time. As well he will (as will everyone who is aware of this) think of you as a very selfish person for forcing him to do so. Be grateful for whatever ring he can afford at present and perhaps in years to come a replacement can be purchased when there is more expendable money.

The typical ring should be equivalent to three month's pay of the person asking. Anymore than this and you are just indulging your ego and expecting more than your relationship can provide. Yes it is wrong to have him sell everything to feed your ego.

No way. Unless you want to be married and living in a cardboard box because you can't afford anything after buying that ring.

No that's not a good idea, especially if you love him. that's a sign of being selfish actually becuase he will be left with nothin and you'll be left with a big rock on your finger. or even it could be that he will tell you to go because you are to selfish....no hard feelings but it's the truth....good lucj trying to get it....
