you will need to provide a legit US address. the actual radio will work in Canada but you need to register with XM to get it activated, and they won't do that if you give a Canadian address.

Can u buy it in CN and activate it there?
If not, u have the answer.

Same issue for sat TV.

It's a gov regulation thing.
