And now she wants to take my daughter to live in turkey. my daughter was born after march 1st 2003, and i am named on the birth cirtificate. I know i have parental responsibility, but would she still be able to take my daughter there to live. I normally have my daughter every weekend, and also see her on a wednesday. any answers would be very greatful. Thanks

Get a good lawyer. I don't think she has a right to take her out of the country, another state maybe, but not out of the US.

If your child doesn't already have a passport then there is no possible way she can leave the country without your permission (unless she does it illegally without a passport). Until a child is 14 a notarized signature of both legal parents is required to obtain a passport. If she has a passport already RUN don't walk to the courthouse and file an injunction, keeping her in the states. If there are no custody and visitation orders you need to get those as well. All you kids....there's a lesson here. Birth control doesn't always work and look what a fine mess this gentleman has ended up with. Sorry.

if you are co-parenting, there may be restrictions on what she can do. Get a lawyer and get advice or she will leave the country.

I don't know she can do this legally. Fight against it. Fight like mad.
