LOL, what have you fed your breasts lately? LOL Am I the only woman who feels this is a stupid idea, to designate a week to honor breast-feeding? Good grief, if a woman wants to breast-feed or not, it should be nobody's business. If they want to celebrate swollen human glands, let them designate national hemorroid week. LOL

Why everyone makes such a big deal about breastfeeding is beyond me, but I'm tired of people thinking it's something indecent and making women feed their babies in smelly public restrooms. I agree it's a silly thing to celebrate, but I think the goal is not celebration but rather to demystify the practice and raise awareness. It's healthier for the baby and completely natural... why shouldn't you be allowed to feed your baby in public? I don't get people saying "I don't want to have to see your breast." Okay... so don't start at it. I'm not a mother and I admit that it can be somewhat uncomfortable to see a woman breastfeeding her child, but if this was a common practice, people like me would get over it pretty quicky. There are plenty of people whose eating habits are much more disgusting than a nursing baby, but we wouldn't dream of hiding them away in bathrooms.

Eh, I don't mind. There still needs to be a lot of education about breast feeding, and from reading some recent questions here, a lot of people are still quite prudish about it.

I can think of better things for lobbyists to work for, though.

You silly penguin. Most of the atheists I know on here and in real life seem to have more morals than some of the Christians I know.
