I see such rude remarks being made these days. What ever happened to common courtesy? You don't have to agree just respect others and remain silent. The old saying is "Silence is Golden."

I don't think a lot of people have been taught to respect each other these days. I see many people who are very rude to their elders.I think we all need to go back to some good old fashioned values. A good christian upbringing is what I think people need to get back to.

Hello! Well, I am a teenager and my mother always asks me the same question you are asking.
I would say there are several possibilities. What I often heard from the adults is that we, people these days, do not know how to show gratitude towards everything and they always take things for granted, and I do believe this happens sometimes, cus I admit that we are maybe too fortunate nowadays to know that some things are not...available to all people.

And what I think is that, young people sometimes fail to control themselves, like me. Sometimes I turn very rude, no matter who I am talking to, friends, my parents, my sister, etc, but I really don't recognize it until that person I am talking to start yelling at me. And of course, at that time, tho I sort of know I am wrong, I will defend myself.

Hope that helps answering your question!

Some people feel that they need to make rude comments so they can be heard, and people will pay attention to themselves. What these people do not realize is that you gain so much more respect from respecting others.

Below is just my opinion..............
1) they were never taught any better
2) they are treating others the way they have been treated
3) they aren't about to let anybody "get the better of them"
4) low self-esteem and it makes them feel superior
5) any or all of the above

Most people, being addicted to television, are exposed to the message broadcast by the television commercial: "You are special, and you deserve more than ordinary people."

I agree!!! I think its just that some people are inconsiderate of others feelings...and they don't think of how they would feel if receiving that behavior from other people...makes me kinda sad.

The people that are rude are the children of the baby boomers. That generation seemed to forget their manners and it rubbed off on to their kids. They have no concept of respect. It makes me sick to even associate with people who have no respect.
