First get out and shoot some hoops or go for a long walk. It will help clear your head. And do something like this everyday because it also releases stress relieving chemicals in your brain to get some aerobic excercise. It is also not good to be home alone with your thoughts too much when things are very stressful it is better to be out among people even if it is a chat with an old lady at the library.

Ask for prayers-they help a lot! Lastly, Get some good advice from a trusted Catholic or other Christian guy that you really look up to. You will be surprised how flattered most guys are that you asked thier advice.

Praying for you bro.

There is nothing wrong with asking for prayers. I believe that prayer is a very powerful thing. But you can't expect the Lord to do EVERYTHING youhave to help too. Try to change your circumstances as much as you can, by moving away or distancing yourself from what ever youfeel is making you feel like you are falling apart. I have had to do that and it was the best decision I have ever made. It is totally worth it if you feel better and more like you have strengthend your realationship with God.

Church isn't just for Sundays.

When things are heavy on my head, I take some time after work one day or on the weekend, pick up the rosary and a dollar bill, and go light a candle in the church and spend some time with God.

Is everything magically fixed? Nope. But I have noticed that the times in my life when I've had it easiest are the times when I was close to God.

If it's all the same to you, when I go back this week, I'll light an extra candle for you.

I was at that point (at least similar to what you seemed
to describe). I wanted to learn what it was that I could
learn and saw that turning bitter was what I wanted to
avoid the most! I tried too hard for a while and finally, after
a few years, I began to learn to pray more sincerely. I used to pray formal prayers for strength and I thought I was being sincere, but then I began to learn more exactly how to be sincere when I prayed -learned to cry out to God.
God says:
Psalm 37:4 (New International Version)
4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Also:
Daniel 10:12 (New International Version)
"Then he continued, 'Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.'"

This is a great one too:
James 5:16b (Amplified Bible)
The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

I hope that is encouraging.
God hears our prayers!
Hang in there!

God never guaranteed the Faithful an easy ride in life.

We have to remember that life is a minefield. Sometimes, most of the time in fact, we end up stepping on minds as the result of something that is entirely our own doing.

Sometimes we step on them without warning and completely by accident. It's our lot to deal with these hard times, even when they are not of our own doing.

The Faithful can weather these times because they know they can always turn to God.

The Truth of the matter is, as fallible humans, we need to have "wake-up calls" happen on occasion. It helps keep us on our toes; from getting too complacent with where we are in our spiritual journey.

The worst thing you can do, when you are down, is give up on your Faith.

Tough times test Faith. All anyone can really say is- hang in there and do not give up on God. He will do His part if we do ours.

I learned something about prayer during my last challenging time. I learned that we must pray as if it all depends on God, and then go out there and work as if it all depends on us.

It's not selfish to ask for prayers. We all need help once in a while. God wanted us to live (and to worship) in a community, not as isolated individuals.

God does hear and answer your prayers, but He doesn't always answer them the way we want or at the time we want.

Have you talked to anyone about your problems? That's the course of action I would recommend.

Like other people said, there is always someone who is worse off.

I know someone here in Mexico who has been living for 9 years with two draining fistulas from his stomach - when he drinks a bottle of water, ten minutes later it starts to drip out. Still he has to work like everybody else, lifting heavy loads because he has no money for surgery. None of the doctors have ever seen anything like it. If you ask him he says its because God wants him alive.

-- Don´t forget,we pray for each other at every mass, even from far away places. Remember what Jesus said to St. Peter, "when you are converted, strengthen your brethern."

There is nothing wrong with continuing to ask for prayer. We should pray for you to have strength to endure your trials if not evade them. Through this strength we learn that it is Christ who is strong not us.

We may cry or scream to Him always. He is our Counselor. We empty our frail hearts to Him telling Him all of our shortcomings. Try telling Jesus that you are only a little baby unable to do anything for yourself. He will answer your prayer through His strength. Just as the childhood hymn prays "we are weak but He is strong."

Yes, Jesus loves you. I too have had many trials where I lost everything I had, my daughter, my home, my belongings, my mind. I traveled for years until I found a convent where they prayed for me. I found medical attention and eventually got a home.

I pray you will be secure. Jesus will hold you. The saints will aid you. Mary listens to you.

Yours in Christ Jesus, Grace

We here on R&S cannot possibly know the extent of your trials, so my advice:

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Therefore stand, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

God hears your prayers. He has never stopped listening. When there seems like no hope I always look to people from the bible and I know if God pulled them through, he will pull us through. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
