It's not hard at all. There are plenty of states where you can marry an illegal and you don't need a SSN. If she can't get married in the state she's in just check the surrounding states.

Marrying an illegal person is not impossible, but getting their papers is very impossible. I will tell you why; Back in the day it was very east to marry an illegal person and do the paperwork for this person to live in the united states. but through the years the immigration office has learned that people were just getting married and doing the paperwork for an illegal person just for money. As they investigated this further they have found out that people were charging up to six thousand dollars for their alien card. Now the immigration office has made it harder for the few that do marry out of love to get the paperwork. it used to be a piece of cake back then but now a days it is very hard because they are still believing that it is "Marriage for Money" Now the requirements are very specific and very strict now. a lot more questions are being asked at the time of their interview and now they put you in separate rooms to verify and compare the answers they both give. i wish your friend lots of luck!!

You can marry them. You just may or may not be able to get them able to immigrate legally, depending on the circumstances. I understand that in some places where licenses have been denied illegals they are including marriage licenses but even there (the one place I heard of) it hasn't gone into effect yet. And there's always Las Vegas...

As for the immigration difficulty, once someone has broken immigration law there are a variety of penalties, some of which include stays on being able to return. It is a penalty for breaking the law.

Tell your friend not to marry unless they love each other enough to both give up their citizenships and apply to a third country as refugees.

That being said, the difficulties are not insurmountable. Just difficult.

There is no law stating you can't marry an illegal alien unless it is a sham marriage to obtain permanent residency for her fiance.

It is not impossible. The problem is they have to wait and go through a lot of paper work, and now days the illegal person has to return to their native Country until the paper work is complete....this is what I have heard.

it is possible to marry illegals.
your friend only her driver license and her fiance need to his passport. or divorc paper if they both used to get divorced before. have the documents ready and go to courthouse. tell them you want to get married. they will give you marriage license, then you go see the justice of the piece or somebody who can perform the wedding ceremony. get your marriage certificate and then apply for a greencard for him.

because to LEGALLY marry someone, you both should be LEGAL citizens. It's pretty black and white. If she's serious about getting married then why not go back to the country he's from and get married? Will it work there?
