My Mother just passed last Wednesday. All her life she love music box's. So, we all would always get her music boxs for all occasions. And she used to play them all the time. She just absoulutely loved them. Well, she had alzhimers for 10 years. It finally took it toll on her. Her last week she was unconsious. The last 2 days, one music box would play now and again. I mean for like 1 to 2 minutes. No one was by it or even wound it. The song was "Love will keep us together". And right after she passed, it played for like 2 minutes. We were all stunned. We just said "Thanks Mom." And the other times when it played, it seemed a very fitting time for "her" to step in with what was being said or happening. Like she was saying, "Hey, I'm making it. I'm alright." And when we got home with it that night to put in on a special shelf, it played for awhile then too. What are your views or experiences with this sort of thing?
